Landmark Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia is a 16-bed premier rehabilitation hospital located in Columbia, Mo., less than two miles from the University of Missouri campus. Situated adjacent to the Landmark LTACH Hospital of Columbia and near two large acute care hospitals and the Truman VA hospital, it provides solutions for patients who require high acuity rehabilitation hospitalization for their medical care. Our hospital provides high quality of care for brain injury, stroke, fractures, and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach including speech, physical, and occupational therapy as well as a neuro board certified physician providing care alongside rehabilitation nurses, case managers, and dietitians. Patients receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under 24/7 care of the rehabilitation nursing staff.

John Hughes is an organizational healthcare leader with a strong background in building strategic business plans and creating a positive work culture. John has a passion for inspiring greatness in those around him. He brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience to Landmark hospitals.
John began his career as a radiologic technologist in the US Army in 1995. He quickly realized his passion and success for leadership which landed him the position of Director of Radiology and a few years later the position of Hospital Administrator for a critical access hospital. John has continued to hold hospital leadership roles to include inpatient rehabilitation, out-patient rehabilitation and long term acute care.
