Daniel Dunmyer has more than 35 years of hospital CEO experience. Dan has been CEO of small and medium sized hospitals through the mid-Atlantic and southern portion of the United States. He has more than 20 years of hospital management service in Short Term Acute Care Hospitals in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Martins Ferry, Ohio as well as Wheeling and Princeton, West Virginia while also having more than 15 years of CEO experience in LTAC’s in Florence and Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina, and Huntington, West Virginia.
Dan received his BA in Communications from Bethany College Bethany, West Virginia, and his MHA from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Penn. He comes to SW Florida with a strong desire and approach to make Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida synonymous with great quality and compassionate care, focusing on patient, physician and employee satisfaction as well as financial and operational performance.
