Chief Executive Officer
Scott Blakley has over 25 years’ experience in the health care industry. He has held the position of Hospital Chief Executive Officer of a number of acute medical/surgical and specialty health care systems. Scott demonstrated his abilities as a multi-facility manager and served as a Regional Vice President for several private and publically held health care systems. Scott has a good understanding of the payer and provider markets in Utah with his prior experience as the Chief Executive Officer of the Tooele Valley Regional Medical Center and more recently as an Administrative Director for Intermountain Healthcare SelectHealth. Scott joined Landmark Hospitals on December 1, 2012 as Chief Executive Officer of the Salt Lake City Hospital. Scott received a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah.
Chief Clinical Officer
Paul Allred is the Chief Clinical Officer of Landmark Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, Paul provides leadership, mentorship, and assistance to the clinical staff at the hospital. He is a highly skilled acute care nurse who enjoys taking care of critically ill patients and learning new skills as a nurse. He is also an IV line specialist who places PICC and Arterial lines in critically ill patients. In addition to his nursing duties Paul is also an ACLS instructor and provides training to new and existing ACLS certified clinicians as well as evaluating the success of emergency codes.
Paul has 8 years’ nursing experience in acute care settings. He most recently served as Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center before coming to Landmark Hospitals. Prior to serving as the ICU director, he was an open heart recovery nurse in the ICU, as well as charge nurse and line specialist.
Paul has three degrees, two of which are in Business Administration - Management and Finance. He is currently pursuing a Masters’ Degree in Nursing Leadership and Management.
Dr. Smitha Sadiq is the Medical Director of Landmark Hospital of Salt Lake City. Dr. Sadiq is currently a hospitalist with both Care Medical and AIM Group of Hospitalists, the two largest hospitalist groups within the state of Utah.
Dr. Sadiq began her medical education at JSS Medical College in India in 1990. She graduated from medical school and completed her internship at Metropolitan Hospital in New York. She subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas at Houston. In 2004, she and her family relocated to Utah. Dr. Sadiq is board certified in Internal Medicine and brings a high level of expertise to Landmark Hospital
