Deborah Sabella is a versatile healthcare professional experienced with implementing new programs and facilities, assisting in cost containment, and identifying the need to implement changes to improve current programs in the ever-changing world of healthcare. She has been an RN for 28 years, with many of those years spent in management and leadership roles.
Sabella has been with Landmark Hospitals for 11 years. She assisted in the development of five Landmark Hospitals from the beginning of construction to completion, gaining valuable experience in construction, purchasing, recruitment and training. During her Landmark career, Sabella has served as CEO for two of Landmark’s Missouri hospitals.
Kim Tippen, RN, CCRN
An alumnus of Southeast Missouri State University, Tippen has been with Landmark Hospitals since the opening of the Cape Girardeau facility in 2006. She began her Landmark career as an RN. In the fall of 2010, she was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer for the hospital and brings over 10 years of critical care experience to the position. Her responsibilities include supervising and scheduling the clinical staff as well as overseeing patient care standards.
Joseph Fugaro, MD, FCCP
Dr. Joseph Fugaro joined the medical team at Landmark Hospital of Cape Girardeau in 2013 as a hospitalist and Medical Director. After working in private practice, he spent two years on staff at Landmark Hospital of Columbia before taking on his new role at Landmark of Cape Girardeau.
Dr. Fugaro completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1996. He completed his general surgery requirements at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in 2004. He completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2006. Dr. Fugaro also received his Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2010.
Dr. Fugaro is an active member of the Missouri Air National Guard and holds the rank of Major as an Aerospace Physician assigned to the 131st Medical Group, Whiteman AFB.
