Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Brown is a Registered Nurse with 17 years nursing experience in many fields of healthcare. His experience includes Medical Surgical, Medical Telemetry, Cardio Thoracic Intensive Care and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. After working 7 years in a not-for-profit hospital he accepted a position as the Nurse Manager of a mobile cardiac catheterization unit for MedCath Inc. located in Charlotte, NC that serviced a seven state regional territory. In this position Mr. Brown was responsible the management of a staff of seven employees, policy implementation, billing, supply procurement, quality assurance, public relations and the logistics of all equipment transport and setup.

Mr. Brown was the President and Co-founder of Vascular Services Inc. founded in 2002 and located in Marion, IL. Vascular Services Inc. is a management company specializing in the staffing and management of cardiac catheterization labs. His role as President included the negotiations of service contracts, staff management, human resources, billing, account receivable and payable and the development of programs in all new cardiac catheterization contracts.

Mr. Brown was also the President and Co-founder of Clearview Imaging LLC which was founded in 2003. Clearview Imaging LLC operates a Diagnostic Sleep Center in Marion, IL known as Clearview Sleep Centers. Mr. Brown planned and organized the business and technical plans related to the operations of the diagnostic sleep center.

Mr. Brown began his career at Landmark Hospitals in January 2007. During his tenure at Landmark he has served in several different positions. Hired as a staff nurse, he quickly moved to the role of Nurse Manager. In September 2007 he was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer and was in this position until he was named interim Chief Executive Officer in June 2009. On August 1, 2010 he became the permanent CEO of Landmark Hospital of Cape Girardeau, LLC. In this role, he is responsible for the overall operations of the hospital including but not limited to: ensuring quality service, improving processes and managing costs.

Mr. Brown’s strengths can be found in his ability to visualize, plan, manage and implement healthcare programs in all aspects of healthcare.

TippenKim  Tippen,

RN, CCRN

Chief Clinical Officer

Kim Tippen, RN, CCRN, has been employed with Landmark since the opening of the hospital in 2006 as a Registered Nurse. Kim graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a nursing degree. In the fall of 2010, she was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer for the hospital and brings over 10 years of critical care experience to the position. Kim believes that her passion for critical care and her desire to provide excellent service will benefit Landmarks patients. Her responsibilities include supervising and scheduling the clinical staff as well as overseeing patient care standards.

WeberTracy L. Weber,

CPA

Controller

Mrs. Weber is a Certified Public Accountant. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1994 magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting. Upon graduation she went to work for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace-East (Boeing, Inc) in St. Louis, Missouri. Her first assignment was as a financial analyst for the F-15 procurement organization. She then advanced to become a Program Cost Accountant for Research and Development.

In December 1995, Weber accepted a position with a local accounting firm and returned to her hometown of Cape Girardeau. During her 7 ½ years in public accounting she became well versed in general accounting as well as preparing audits and tax returns.

She currently resides in Cape Girardeau with her husband and two children.
